2008 marks the 35th year of SCG. First started in 1973 by four founding members and named the Los Angeles Inter-Foundation Center and then as the Southern California Association for Philanthropy, the organization continues to be a steady presence and resource for the local philanthropic community.

Here we present a timeline of 35 years of SCG and philanthropy, photos and memories from those involved and reflections on the role and responsibilities of philanthropy in a changing world.
