Southern California Grantmakers (SCG) is a membership association of grantmakers and philanthropists. Members have access to special information, available on this page and throughout the site. Benefits from Partner Organizations

Searchable SCG Member Directory: SCG's newest member benefit allows you to find other members using a variety of search terms. For example, members will be able to search for family foundations that fund education in Orange County, or all members that fund the arts, or all of SCG’s community foundation members. Searches for individuals at member organizations are also available.

All searches will be exportable to Microsoft Excel. You will be asked to log-in to the members-only area of the SCG website to use the directory. We ask that you do not share contact information of members with non-members.

Please note:
Some members have asked to not display in the SCG directory and will not be available in your searches.
Some members have requested they not receive mailings from SCG. Those members' mailing and email address will not appear in the export.

Member Roster: You may view, print or download a PDF roster with complete contact information for SCG members. You must be logged in to access the Directory.
Archive of SCG's Biweekly E-Newsletter: You will be asked to log in in order to view the newsletters.
Significant Savings: Discounts on publications, software and services for SCG members. (Made possible through our partnership with the Forum of Regional Associations of Grantmakers)
Free Job Postings: SCG lists job opportunities at members' institutions, as well as members' grantee organizations. Job opportunities are updated once a week and postings will remain on the website for approximately one month, unless otherwise specified. Members may post a job by emailing amy@socalgrantmakers.org.
Family Foundation Information Exchange (FFIX): SCG's peer learning network for family foundations - access full information about the program, read the materials and learn how to participate.
Philanthropic Resources: Section of this website that provides links and publications to help SCG members learn about philanthropy, enhance their grantmaking and improve foundation management. You will be asked to log in to access many of the resources.
Materials from SCG's Programs & Events: Section of this website that lists past programs and events. Within the listings, materials that were provided at the events are made available to SCG members. You will be asked to log in to access the materials listed.

Benefits from Partner Organizations

Family Philanthropy Online (FP Online): FP Online is a service of the National Center for Family Philanthropy and is a benefit of SCG membership for family foundations, and others engaged in family philanthropy. Search the Knowledge Center (a searchable, comprehensive, and constantly updated collection of resources), attend educational teleconferences on a wide variety of topics or listen to past teleconferences, suggest resources, and join the Center's e-newsletter distribution list. Current members may view or print a fact sheet about what FPOnline offers and how to access the service (NOTE: you will be asked to log-in.).

Giving Forum Teleconferences and Webinars: The Giving Forum provides services to Regional Associations of Grantmakers (RAGs) across the country, including SCG. Through this partnership, SCG members may participate in a wide variety of teleconferences and webinars on diverse topics. The events are always listed on the Upcoming Events page.
