Becoming a Member 

Eligibility

SCG membership is open to individual philanthropists and institutional grantmakers of many types – family foundations, private independent foundations, community and public foundations, corporate foundations and corporate giving programs – that give at least $25,000 annually in SCG’s service area, which includes Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura counties.

Membership Support Formula

Members support SCG’s efforts through annual contributions based upon their total prior year’s grants. Those headquartered outside of SCG’s service area may base their support on their Southern California giving.

Membership is on a calendar year basis; new members may pro-rate their membership for the first year only.
