Family Foundation Forum
Strategic philanthropy significantly enhances family
foundations' ability to balance the twin goals of achieving social impact and
engaging family members in the giving process.
Thoughtful, strategic giving can not only increase family
foundations’ effectiveness as philanthropists, but can provide a more engaging
experience for trustees.
This workshop, led by TCC Group, addresses the benefits of being more strategic
in philanthropic activities, and how family foundations can transition their giving to an increasingly unified and focused approach.
The program is designed for both staff and trustees
interested in moving their foundations to the next level of strategic
philanthropy. Participants will come away with a clear understanding of
the benefits--and challenges--of more strategic family philanthropy, in
addition
to tools to guide their foundations through the transition.
In addition to the workshop, a panel discussion will address family foundations' experiences from this process and participants will
have the opportunity to engage with colleagues who have similar goals and
challenges. Panelists include:
- Edmund J. Cain, Vice
President, Grants Programs, Conrad N. Hilton
Foundation
- Casey Rogers,
Associate, Janis Minton Consulting
- Tessa Carmen De
