Join the Funders Together to End Homelessness (FTEH) – Los Angeles network and Southern California Grantmakers for an informative presentation led by Jacqueline Waggoner, VP and Southern California Market Leader – Enterprise Community Partners, Inc.; Dr. Va Lecia Adams- Kellum, Executive Director – St. Joseph’s Center; Reba Stevens – (TITLE).
Nearly two years ago, the groundbreaking Ad Hoc Committee on Black People Experiencing Homelessness Report was released with more than 65 recommendations for the County. Waggoner, Adams-Kellum, and Stevens will share what work has taken place, the latest in next steps towards implementation, and how philanthropy may get involved to continue to advance equity and eliminate racial disparities impacting Black people experiencing homelessness across Los Angeles County.
About Funders Together to End Homelessness: FTEH is a diverse network of over 230 philanthropic organizations dedicated to preventing and ending homelessness. Because homelessness has no single cause or solution, members are engaged in many grantmaking activities, ranging from homelessness to related areas like housing, health care, education, workforce development, child welfare, domestic violence, and food security. The Los Angeles Chapter has planned an event.

Journey with us as we take our annual AAPIP-LA Van Tour on the road, virtually. We invite you to take a lunchtime pit stop out of your day to visit with dynamic leaders of AANHPI serving organizations to share a little about their work, including how they have been able to adapt, persist, and innovate during COVID-19. This “A.P.I. V-Tour” will explore new data from the Asian Pacific Community Fund’s API Nonprofit COVID-19 Needs Assessment, which shows how the pandemic has specifically impacted nonprofits serving AANHPI communities.
Together we will learn about their organization’s journey in the last few months, how they see their future, and learn about funding gaps and how we as funders can make an impact and support community needs.
Information subject to change. Event details will be emailed to registrants closer to the event.
