SCG is proud to partner with Time Warner Cable and the L.A. Regional STEM Hub for a special STEM education workshop!

Funders, nonprofits, government representatives, and educators who are making concerted STEM efforts in the out-of-school space will come together to explore how organizations can work together to create dynamic and impactful afterschool STEM educational programs.

Based on Time Warner Cable's Connect a Million Minds initiative, a five-year initiative designed to address America’s declining proficiency in STEM, discussions will center on the importance of professional development, measurement, evaluation, and developing quality curriculum.

Funders will share insights into the programs that they choose to fund and why. Additionally, participants will be given an opportunity to address challenges they’ve faced in developing, launching and funding successful STEM programs in the afterschool space.

NOTE: Space is limited. There is a limit of two representatives per organization to attend. Please RSVP only if you are planning to attend. This is a complimentary day and we will ensure each space is utilized.
