About the Series

Foster Together: Transforming Caregiving, Building Community is a five-session conference series offered on Thursday mornings starting October 22nd that aims to knit together LA’s resource parents, practitioners, and County leaders into a community dedicated to the future of L.A.’s foster youth. The series will share breakthrough ways to strengthen caregiver recruitment and support in light of the changes brought about by COVID-19.

The series kicks off at 9:30am on Thursday, Oct. 22 with OPTIMIZING CAREGIVING IN A VIRTUAL WORLD with an expert panel and community discussion integrating voices from the foster parent community, provider community, and the LA County Department of Child and Family Services.
