California voters this November face a number of ballot questions that will affect many aspects of life in our state. This event will look at five important ballot measures: Prop. 1 (affordable housing bond), Prop. 2 (mental health dollars for homelessness), Prop. 5 (expanding local property tax breaks), Prop. 6 (curtailing transportation funding) and Prop. 10 (rent control).

Part I: What These Measures Do and the Issues They Raise

The California Budget & Policy Center staff will give an overview of Propositions 1, 2, 5, 6 and 10 based on the Center's forthcoming analyses.

Part II: Panel Discussion and Q&A

An expert panel will discuss the pros and cons of each proposition and why they matter for Los Angeles and our state.
