Every family foundation experiences the joy, the sadness, the complexity, and the energy of transitions. Moving toward new leadership in the family can be difficult, emotional, and sometimes frustrating. However, when it is done deliberately and thoughtfully, these times of transition can also be positive for all involved.

This National Center for Family Philanthropy webinar shares the stories and lessons learned by two family foundations that successfully navigated the tricky waters of leadership transition:

  • Betsy Brill, Founder and President, Strategic Philanthropy, Ltd. and a designated National Center for Family Philanthropy Trained Consultant
  • Virginia Esposito, Founder and President, National Center for Family Philanthropy
  • Dinaz Mansuri, Executive Director, Mayer and Morris Kaplan Family Foundation
  • Dean Phillips, Chairman and Co-owner, Talenti Gelati; Co-Chair, The Jay & Rose Phillips Family Foundation of Minnesota; and Co-Chair, The Edward J. Phillips Family Foundation
  • Patrick Troska, Executive Director, The Jay and Rose Phillips Family Foundation of Minnesota

Times of transition are both a challenge and an opportunity for all family members. We hope you join us for this engaging discussion. Read more about this program's speakers here.
