In partnership with the Los Angeles Partnership for Early Childhood Investment, we are pleased to invite SCG members to a special session about home visiting programs as a support for parents and other family members caring for potentially at-risk children.

High quality home visitation programs are one of the greatest returns on investment for vulnerable young children, empowering parents and caregivers with critical tools and resources to ensure appropriate health and developmental outcomes and increase family stability.

Representatives from The Pew Charitable Trusts, national leaders in the movement for universal, high quality home visiting programs, will provide updates on the latest developments at the federal and state levels. They will also share new public opinion research from across the country, including results from focus groups here in Los Angeles.

We’ll hear insights from several experts in the field:

This program, part of the LA Partnership’s Quarterly Member Meeting, will also help SCG gauge interest in developing a series of jointly sponsored programs on issues related to early childhood investment.

No cost to attend.
