Can you fund the school of a trustee's child? Who can attend fundraising events? What types of thank you gifts from grantees can you accept?

With the public focusing more and more on corporate governance and foundation administration, it's a good time to brush up on the self-dealing and conflicts of interest rules for foundations.

Join the Grants Managers Network (GMN) and Southern California Grantmakers for an informational conversation with leading experts in the field of foundation law and auditing to discuss the dos and don’ts in regards to self-dealing and conflicts of interest.

Moderated by Donella Wison, Partner at Green Hasson Janks, this session will feature several local experts in the field:

  • Melissa Harman, CPA, Moss Adams
  • Martha Jimenez, Executive Vice President/Counsel at The California Endowment
  • Lauren Haverlock, Principal, Green Hasson Janks

This program is designed for both foundation professionals and board members.

Breakfast will be provided.
