Please join the The California Endowment, The California Wellness Foundation, the California Community Foundation and the Durfee Foundation in welcoming Alliance for Justice to Los Angeles and learning more about how AFJ can help you and your grantees. 

Alliance for Justice is the national leader in promoting active engagement in the democratic process by giving nonprofits and foundations the confidence to advocate effectively. Through a coordinated program of workshops, one-on-one technical assistance, publications, and public education, AFJ has partnered with the Southern California nonprofit and foundation community for more than 20 years from offices in the Bay Area and Washington, D.C. 

During this program, you will learn:

  • The important role that public policy and advocacy play in shaping our communities How to help trustees become more comfortable with funding for policy and advocacy
  • How funders can strategically employ their expertise and resources to move the needle on issues they care about
