Find out how to make strategic, informed disaster-related giving decisions to meet the needs of affected communities here and around the world. Join the Center for Disaster Philanthropy and Foundation Center for the public launch of the third annual “Measuring the State of Disaster Philanthropy: Data to Drive Decisions” report, dashboard, and mapping platform.

CDP President and CEO Bob Ottenhoff and Foundation Center Vice President for Knowledge Services Larry McGill will open the webinar by reviewing key findings from the 2014 data and presenting the interactive dashboard and mapping platform.

The discussion will include a public Q&A session to answer questions on how to use the data and interactive tools to visualize trends, identify funding gaps, and explore philanthropic networks and funding relationships. Donors, foundations, corporations, NGOs, government agencies, and media interested in understanding how to increase the effectiveness of disaster-related giving are encouraged to participate and take advantage of these free resources.

The annual analysis of funding for disasters and humanitarian crises is made possible with generous support from the Irene W. and C.B. Pennington Foundation.
