Job Description: 

Edwards Lifesciences is seeking a Manager, Global Corporate Giving to help drive forward the company’s commitment to impacting the lives of underserved patients and strengthening the communities where we live and work. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Global Corporate Giving, this role will be responsible for operational excellence in giving initiatives that include investing approximately $10 million per year in grant-making to non-profit organizations and product donations, as well as inspiring 13,000 global employees to participate in charitable activity.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage grant-making, expense and data analysis/reporting:
    • Manage operations of payments (grants, expenses) in grant management platform (CyberGrants)
    • Support the Foundation’s annual grant cycle
    • Manage impact and financial data for internal and external reporting 
    • Manage and update grant applications and impact reports
    • Manage and execute ~50 annual grant agreements
    • Support non-profit partners as they complete applications and impact reports
    • Ensure all checks are received and cashed by non-profit organizations and vendors
    • Manage and implement systematic enhancements to improve efficiency of Foundation operations, including effective utilization of the CyberGrants platform
  • Manage budget and financial operations:
    • Budget management and forecasting to ensure annual on-budget performance
    • Manage cash flow between various Foundation and Donor-Advised-Fund accounts
    • Primary account manager for various internal and external financial partners (i.e. banks, tax, legal and accountants)
    • Partner with different Edwards departments on philanthropic forecasting
  • Manage various giving programs:
    • Edwards Foundation Volunteer Grants
    • Employee Matching Gift Program
    • Product Donation Program
    • United Way Giving Campaigns 
    • Employee Assistance Program 
  • Maintain Global Corporate Giving Guidelines, Policies and Procedures

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • A minimum of 10 years related experience, including:
    • 5 years in financial reporting and budget management
    • 3 years in data management operational system, preferably with Cybergrants or similar grant-making system
  • A passion for giving back and helping people
  • Detailed oriented; meticulously organized
  • Strong communication 
  • Strong customer relationship skills; ability to build trust
  • Collaborative; enjoys working on teams
  • Can effectively manage multiple projects from inception to completion
  • A self-starter
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • Excel expert; proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite applications
