EPIP Los Angeles Now Accepting New Steering Committee Members

Friday, November 20, 2015

The Los Angeles Chapter of Emerging Practitioners in Philanthropy (EPIP) is looking for new Steering Committee members. Join our team of eight local leaders, planning and implementing exciting programs for EPIP members! This is a great opportunity to get to know like-minded people working in the philanthropy sector, while volunteering your time to help build the leadership skills and knowledge base of emerging foundation professionals.

EPIP LA is the local chapter of a national network of new and emerging foundation professionals and social entrepreneurs who strive for excellence in philanthropy. One of the most diverse organizations in the field, EPIP develops new leaders to improve philanthropy and its impact on communities through professional development programs, network building, mentoring, and other leadership development opportunities. To us, emerging leaders bring new thinking, backgrounds, and diversity into philanthropy, improving its effectiveness and potential to better the world.

To join EPIP LA's Steering Committee you must be willing to commit to attend one in-person meeting per month, and take the lead on planning one event each year. We also ask that you support at least two events planned by other Steering Committee members, by attending and helping with logistics and recruitment. EPIP LA’s monthly in-person meeting occurs every third Friday of the month in Downtown LA.

In order to join this year’s Steering Committee, we ask that you apply by December 15th, so that you can attend our annual January planning retreat.

If you're interested in building your leadership skills and engaging with the EPIP community in a deeper way, please inquire at [email protected].

We hope you'll reach out to learn more!
