Get on the Map! Access to accurate, up-to-date grantmaking data is in your hands.

Monday, February 9, 2015

Dear Colleagues,

I’ve often heard SCG members say, “I wish I knew WHO is funding WHAT and WHERE in our region.” So I’m pleased to announce Get on the Map, a new SCG initiative in partnership with the Foundation Center and our national network to help you make more informed, data-driven funding decisions.

Many of your SCG peers are already leading the way. Now, you can start sharing your data to Get on the Map with your fellow funders.

Together, we are building a new searchable mapping platform that quickly shows you who’s funding what and where.

Many SCG leaders are already participating:

  • Amgen Foundation
  • Annenberg Foundation
  • California Community Foundation
  • Carrie Estelle Doheny Foundation
  • Conrad N. Hilton Foundation
  • See full list...

Now it’s your turn! Click here to learn more and start sharing your data in three easy steps: socalgrantmakers.org/get-map.

Get on the Map is a partnership between Southern California Grantmakers, Foundation Center, and the Forum of Regional Associations of Grantmakers. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me or Karen Freeman, SCG’s Director of Operations & Strategic Initiatives.

I’m hopeful that this exciting initiative will be useful for you and your peers. Please lead the way for us all to Get on the Map!

Sincerely,

Christine Essel
