Elaine Lasnik-Broida brings over 30 years of compensation consulting experience to serve client needs. She has built a unique knowledge base and developed expertise in the foundation and nonprofit sectors. Her firm has a reputation for high quality and integrity. Elaine advises clients on best practices to ensure that their critical resources—especially the significant investments in talent—align with their stated visions and missions.
In 1998, she created the Total Compensation Survey of Foundations which has grown to be one of the most respected data sources for compensation, benefits and related information for private and independent foundations in the country. The Survey has a reputation as the "go to" source for wide-ranging foundation policies and procedures. Elaine conducts seminars and workshops on total compensation strategy development, topics and trends in the sector.
Elaine is on the Executive Advisory Board of the Iris Cantor-UCLA Women's Health Center, funding innovative and groundbreaking research. She has held Board leadership roles in major nonprofit organizations including Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles, New Roads School, National Breast Cancer Coalition and City Hall Fellows. She is an active supporter and contributor to various charitable organizations, including the Eastern Madera County SPCA, as a major funder of its capital campaign to build a no-kill shelter and a cat care and adoption center dedicated to her parents.
Elaine holds an MBA degree in Management from the University of Southern California and a Professional Designation in Personnel Management from UCLA.
