Breathing New Life into Catholic Schools: An Exploration of Catholic School Governance Models

Publication date:
Thursday, January 1, 2015

This white paper was researched, prepared, and published by FADICA (Foundations and Donors Interested in Catholic Activities). The white paper, a project recommended by the FADICA Catholic schools affinity group, has received good feedback from critical partners in Catholic school innovation nationwide. At the request of the USCCB Education Office, the draft was shared with 60 bishops in a special dialogue with the USCCB's Committee on Catholic Education. The Committee’s chair, Archbishop George J. Lucas, presented its key themes to the US Bishops General Assembly in November 2014, and the Committee distributed the final white paper to all U.S. bishops. NCEA worked with FADICA to distribute and publicize the paper to more than 160 school leaders nationwide.
