Unsheltered individuals are the largest subgroup of people experiencing homelessness. As unsheltered homelessness increases – both in numbers and visibility – there is an urgency to find solutions to end their homelessness. We know that in order to end homelessness, we need an effective crisis response systems and ready access to permanent housing, employment and other services. However, with the exception of subgroups such as veterans and people who are disabled, unsheltered individuals are rarely prioritized and seldom receive housing assistance.

Funders can help. The 2019 Funders Forum, held on February 20th prior to the National Alliance to End Homelessness's Solutions for Individual Homeless Adults national conference, will focus on what funders can do to build the public and political will to help end the homelessness of unsheltered individuals. During the day, we’ll learn about this population that faces great vulnerability, what funders around the country are doing and how to build the public and political will to change the system.

Registration for the 2019 Funders Forum is now open!

You may choose to attend the Wednesday's Funders Forum only, or attend both the Funders Forum and2019 Solutions for Individual Homeless Adults national conference.
