2019 Count

Every year, the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA) conducts a census of the homeless population through the Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count. The Count helps LAHSA better understand homelessness in our region and direct resources where they’re needed most. We need at least 8,000 volunteers to canvas more than 80 cities and 200 communities across LA County.

You can now register for the Count, which will take place January 22-24:

Tuesday, January 22: San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita Valley, & San Gabriel Valley

Wednesday, January 23: South Bay/Harbor Cities & East and West Los Angeles County

Thursday, January 24: Antelope Valley, Metro Los Angeles, & South Los Angeles County
