Protect Immigrant Families on COVID-19 Relief Bill
Topics: Disaster Resilience, Immigrants, low-income communities, health care, racial equity.
Description of Position
The National Immigration Law Center and the Center on Law and Social Policy coordinated over 550 advocate organizations including Philanthropy California to sign a letter in support of a COVID-19 relief package that extends health care and economic support to all families including immigrant families.

SCG Submits Comments to the Federal Reserve Regarding Main Street Lending Programs
On April 16, 2020, Southern California Grantmakers submitted the following comments urging the Federal Reserve to include 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations as eligible applicants for the “Main Street Lending Programs”.
"On behalf of Southern California Grantmakers, we respectfully request that the Federal Reserves “Main Street Lending Programs” include 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations as eligible applicants.
